Christmas has just passed, and we hope you and your loved ones celebrated it in style! But before we bid the Christmas spirit farewell and say goodbye to a ‘dapper’ 2013, we asked the talented illustrator and good friend Idris van Heffen to involve us in his holiday joy and share his artistic point of view on the Limited edition Happy Sock – a special edition sock released to celebrate the brand’s 5th year anniversary.

Happy Socks started in 2008 with two friends who had a vision: to spread happiness by turning an everyday essential into a colorful design piece with a rigid standard of ultimate quality, craftsmanship and creativity.
This year, Happy Socks celebrated its fifth year anniversary with the release of a special editition pair of party socks. Made of combed cotton, the sock transcripts celebration, party and colour.

How Idris came to his art piece? Idris: I wanted to make something happy, because Christmas is happy. But I avoided all other references to Christmas. They’re to cliche for my taste. For the rest I just drew what came to mind.
